Three points lead to success. They are Self, Environment and
Chance. This is called Theory of 3Ps to Success or SECT, where T for target.
Upon failure, it is good for one to review his progress, to find what leads to
the failure.
However, at that moment, it is too late, as the target was not realised, it
failed. It would not have happened! However it does.
What should you have to do then? No arguement please. Yes, you nearly prepare
for that. Excuse is often easy to take: A storm can arise from the clear sky! A
failure is failure.
As Chinese says, there is always a way out. Of course you can find some
solutions to prevent it happening again. You can mitigate the loss, but unless
it does not come out, you have no way to make up.
According to SECT, to avoid the failure, the only thing you need to do is
evaluate the 3 Points: Self, Environment, Chance, which are the basis
for the Target you want to achieve.
Let's go closer to SECT.
Target
The target you want to achieve. A bussinessman may set his target to 3M
turnover annually. A student may set his target as passing all the test at the
end of a semester. A sick person may set the target to recover...All such
targets, or goals, if achieved, the person who made the plan is successful.
Once a target is set, the progress to achieve it is starting. But is the target
feasible? Or workable? If not, then no meaning for the target.
How to evaluate the target? Check the 3 points: SEC.
Self
You know yourself? You know your health? You know your capacity to the target?
Environment
The objective conditions support your target?
Chance
Occasion knocks but once. Is it the good chance to put the plan on your
schedule?
That is all.
Remind yourself of the SECT now and then, and you will be successful.
It is so simple that you will never forget even I just tell you once.
And come back to this website, put your thoughts about SECT
after a WEEK, to share your opinions.
It helps you, and you may wish to help others.
